Sky Prices And Offers Terms Subject To Change

GENERAL INFORMATION
• You must be 18 or over to order any products or
services from Sky.
• All the information contained in this Key Facts
Sheet applies to residential customers in the UK,
Channel Islands and Isle of Man only.
FREE SKY BOX AND MINI DISH OFFER
• The free dish and box offer is limited to one
per household.
• You cannot take up the free dish and box offer if
you or someone in your household has previously
entered into an Interactive Discount Contract to
receive free or discounted equipment from Sky.
• You do not have to subscribe to Sky digital to take
up the free dish and box offer, but if you don't
subscribe you will not be able take up Sky’s
standard installation offer, details of which are
available in the Sky leaflet.
• Your Sky box must be connected to an active
telephone land line that accepts incoming and
outgoing calls for at least 12 months from the
date your Sky box is installed.
• The full terms and conditions of the Sky free dish
and box offer and the Sky installation offer are
included in the Sky Contracts Booklet which will
be sent to you by post.
SKY± AND SKY HD
• The Sky± box and Sky HD box is only compatible
with digital satellite.
• To use the Sky± recording features of your Sky±
box or your Sky HD box, you need a Sky±
subscription. The Sky± subscription is free whilst
you subscribe to Sky digital. If you are not a Sky
digital subscriber, it costs £10 a month.
• Your Sky± subscription has a minimum term of 12
months from the date your Sky± box first receives
the Sky± service.
• You need a Sky HD and a Sky digital subscription
to receive the Sky HD channels and the Sky HD
channels you receive depend on the Sky digital
package that you choose. The Sky HD subscription
costs £10 a month. Details of the costs of Sky
digital packages are available in the Sky leaflet.
• Your Sky HD contract has a minimum subscription
period of 12 months from the date your Sky HD
box is enabled to receive the Sky HD service.
• To experience the full benefits of Sky HD, you will
need a compatible HD Ready TV.
• You must also connect your Sky± box or Sky HD box
to an active telephone land line that accepts
incoming and outgoing calls for at least 12 months.
• The full terms and conditions are included in the
Sky± box or Sky HD box.
INSTALLATION OF YOUR SKY EQUIPMENT
• Installation will be payable when you place your
equipment order. Details of standard installation
charges for your Sky equipment are available
in the Sky leaflet or from your retailer or Sky
venue agent.
• Additional charges will be payable if your
installation is not standard, e.g. it requires
additional cabling, brackets or mounts.
• You will be responsible for obtaining any consents
you require to install your digital satellite equipment
in your home, e.g. landlord’s consent if you live in
a rented property.
• It may only be possible to install one standard
Sky box in your home if you live in a block with
a communal satellite system, unless you can
confirm you have more than one satellite
connection in your home.
• If your installation is carried out by Sky, you will
receive the full terms and conditions relating to
your installation in the Sky Contracts Booklet
which will be sent to you by post.
SKY DIGITAL
• Your Sky digital contract has a minimum
subscription period of 12 months.
• If your Sky digital subscription contract ends
during the Minimum Term, charges may be
payable to Sky under it and the Free Dish and Box
Installation Offer. Sky may charge these amounts
directly to the credit or debit card which you
provide details of to Sky e.g. when you pay Sky
for the installation of your equipment.
• You can only use the viewing card that we will
provide to you in the UK, Isle of Man and the
Channel Islands for private viewing at the home
address you have provided to your retailer or Sky
venue agent.
• Sky Box Office movies, events and stand alone
channels cost extra and will be charged to you in
addition to the Sky digital package you've chosen.
• The full terms and conditions of the Sky digital
service are contained in the Sky Contracts Booklet
which will be sent to you by post.
MULTIROOM
• You need an extra Sky box for each Sky Multi room
subscription. Prices of Sky boxes are available in the
Sky leaflet or from your retailer or Sky venue agent.
• Your Sky Multi room subscription has a minimum
subscription period of 12 months.
• You must remain a Sky digital subscriber at all
times during your Sky Multi room subscription.
• Your Sky Multi room subscription will provide the
same channels that are included in your first Sky
digital subscription on a Sky box in another room.
• If you have Sky HD, your Sky Multi room subscription
will not provide you with Sky HD channels in
another room unless you purchase a second Sky HD
box and a second Sky HD subscription.
• You must keep each of your Sky box(e's) connected
to the same active telephone land line that accepts
incoming and outgoing calls at all times during
your Sky Multi room subscription(s).
• If you have Sky HD and/or Sky±, you must put
your main viewing card in the Sky HD/Sky± box.
• The full terms and conditions of your Sky Multi room
service are included in the Sky Contracts Booklet
which will be sent to you by post.
SKY TALK
• Sky Talk will only be provided to you whilst you
have an active Sky digital subscription.
• You need to have an active BT compatible land line
to receive the Sky Talk service. Sky Talk is not
available to BT Light Users.
• Once registered, Sky will notify BT that you want
to switch to Sky Talk. You will then receive a
welcome pack with the full Sky Talk terms and
conditions and the date when your calls will be
switched to Sky Talk.
• Once activated, you will continue to pay your line
rental provider for line rental and for some calls,
for example calls to BT operator services.
• Your Sky Talk charges will be added to your Sky
bill, which will be paid under the same direct
debit or credit card continuous instruction as your
Sky digital subscription.
• Sky Talk’s free and unlimited calls apply to 01 and
02 numbers only (excluding the Channel Islands).
These calls are subject to Sky’s Acceptable Use
Policy which is available at sky.com/skytalk
• Sky Talk is only for private domestic use.
• Sky or its agents may need to speak with BT or
other network operators about providing Sky Talk
to you. You authorise Sky or its agents to do this
and consent to BT or other network operators
providing Sky with your personal data to enable
Sky Talk to be provided to you.
• If your Sky digital viewing is restricted or ends,
we may also restrict or end the provision of Sky
Talk to you.
• The full terms and conditions included in the Sky
Talk welcome pack will be sent to you by post.
SKY BROADBAND
• You must be a Sky digital subscriber at all times
whilst subscribing to Sky Broadband.
• Sky Broadband has a minimum subscription
period of at least 12 months during which time
you cannot change your chosen product.
• Your Sky Broadband line should take up to 15
working days to be active. A letter will be sent
to you which will confirm your expected Sky
Broadband line activation date.
• The availability and the uploading and
downloading speeds of your Sky Broadband
service will depend upon your location, phone
line, equipment and survey.
• If you intend to use the wireless capabilities of
the Sky Broadband box, your PC or laptop must
be wireless enabled. If it is not, you can buy the
necessary equipment from Sky.
• The full terms and conditions of your Sky
Broadband service will be sent to your Sky
Broadband primary email address together
with our usage policies, Microsoft’s Internet
Explorer Agreement and the Sky Broadband
cancellation policy.
