How To Use BBC iPlayer On Your Receiver
1. Connect Your Freesat HD Receiver or Freesat HD TV to your Router With An Ethernet Cable or Homeplug Wireless Adaptor.
2. Press the Red Button from any BBC channel (except CBBC and CBeebies).
3. Select BBC iPlayer From Menu.
4. BBC iPlayer on freesat will then load after a few seconds.
What is BBC iPlayer on freesat?
BBC iPlayer on freesat is a service that lets you can catch up with BBC TV programmes from the past week.
Which freesat boxes and TVs can take part in the Beta trial?
A Beta version of the BBC iPlayer is available on freesat, currently on Humax Foxsat-HD, Humax Foxsat-HDR boxes and Sony freesat TVs only. The Beta release will become available to all freesat HD receivers including freesat HD TVs in the following weeks and months. Full details will be made available on freesat.co.uk when the service is ready to launch.
I'm taking part in the Beta trial of BBC iPlayer on freesat. What does "Beta trial" mean?
At the moment a Beta version of the BBC iPlayer is available on freesat. This is a trial of the service before the launch to test BBC iPlayer on freesat, with a selection of programmes available. At present you can't view all programmes listed so look for the arrow next to the title - this indicates that a programme can be watched. The Beta trial is currently only available to Humax HD boxes and Humax freesat+ boxes.
Will you get other on-demand services on freesat?
Yes. ITV and freesat are working together to launch ITV Player onto freesat in the first half of 2010.
What are the terms and conditions for BBC iPlayer?

When will BBC iPlayer on freesat be available on other freesat receivers?
At present, the Beta release is only available on Humax HD boxes and Humax freesat+ boxes. 1. Installation and alignment of single satellite dish and LNB to any wall up to 25ft.
2. Ground mount installation* (Patio stand may be required, see below).
3. Installation of single cable run from dish to receiver up to 20Mtrs away.
4. Fixings including bolts, clips, ties and connectors.
5. Installation and programming of your FreeSat receiver.
6. Engineers basic instructions to customer on how to use the receiver and remote.
7. Includes all labour up to 2 hours for a full install. (Over 2 hours see below)
8. Full 12 months warrantee on all parts and labour (Excludes high wind damage)
EXTRAS OUTSIDE STANDARD INSTALLATION
Most Installs do not require extras but please note our costs below if extra work or parts are required and may be charged;
* TK brackets and pole size 12" or 18" =£35.00, or TK bracket and pole 24" =£45.00.
* Patio Mounts =£25.00 (*May be required if dish is ground mounted)
* Extra points. =£39.00 per point up to 20m (if required)
* Cable runs over 20Mtrs. (£0.75p per Mtr will include cable and labour Over 20Mtrs)
* Cable runs which require extra time like through loft etc will be chargeable at £25.00 per hour if job total is over 2 hours.
* Dish installs on roofs or chimneys. (May require special brackets and time, cost Approx £25 to £35 Extra)
